ArtsGroupie aims to make the arts accessible to all. Developing theatre productions, heritage walk tours and creative workshops and taking them out to communities in the Northwest.

THE MUSIC BIRD – Many people have been inspired by our very own Liver Birds.

What’s your favourite bird? What’s your favourite memory? Would you like to help invent a completely new one?

We want you to help us create a new unique animal, THE MUSIC BIRD. This creatures feathers will be composed literally of your memories, photographs and stories about local music or a response to an extract from the selected book list choices.

In this interactive workshop participants will explore memories and develop their imagination to help ArtsGroupie create THE MUSIC BIRD.

We will have different coloured feather templates that each participant can write on during the workshop and we will add to a display board to create a unique massive music bird. Participants will be encouraged to bring objects and images to discuss.

The MUSIC Bird will be on display in the library and images will be uploaded to social media platforms.

Suitable for all ages – families, adults and children.
